Dear Friends of The Philosopher,
The end of the year is a time for reflection, and we at The Philosopher have much to celebrate and be grateful for this year. Thanks to your support and engagement, we:
Published two print issues on Punishment and Violence, alongside a compelling collection of conversations on Pseudoscience;
Hosted over 45 events featuring leading thinkers, covering topics from structural injustice to the philosophy of AI. These events were attended by people from over 110 countries around the world;
Organized reading groups and classes, where participants engaged with authors like Helen De Cruz and Robert Chapman in intimate settings.
None of this would have been possible without your contributions—whether as a journal subscriber, Patreon member, donor, or as an engaged participant in our events and discussions. Your active involvement is what breathes life into our mission. Philosophy isn’t something that happens in isolation; it thrives in conversation and community, and you are at the heart of ours.
The Philosopher is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. Our events and online content are offered for free, and we’re committed to keeping it that way. But to achieve this, we need your help.
We hope you will consider making a one-time, year-end donation to support our efforts. Your generosity fuels everything we do and helps us plan for the future.
Here’s how you can support The Philosopher:
Thank you for helping us continue with our mission. Together, we can continue to build spaces for philosophical exploration and dialogue.
With gratitude, The Philosopher Team
